I. Warm-up: - Greetings.
- Good morning, class.
-How are you?
- How many students are there in your class?
- What time is it?
-what subjects do you have today?
-> introduce the text.
II.New lesson
1.pre-speaking:
A1:-Ask ss to look at A1and practice saying the time
-Ask ss to repeat the way of Asking and answering about the time.
-Write down on the board.
ex: It`s ten past eleven
It is eleven ten.
3. giờ kém
ex: It`s ten to eleven= it`s ten fifty.
=> It`s + số phút + to + số giờ.
4.giờ rưỡi
ex: It half past nine.= It`s nine thirty.
*Note: fifteen=a quarter.
EX: What time do you get up ?
I get up at 6 o`clock.
III. Practice
2. While reading:
-A1: work in pairs
Ex:S1: What time is it ?
S2: It`s seven o`cock.
-Call some pairs to pracrice in front of the class.

A2: Ask ss to work in pairs to practice A2:
