A sub - board.
2. Students:
Search for the meaning of the new words in the Glossary.
Revise the knowledge about making offers, requests and promises.

Getting started
T presents the SITUATIONS of Section Getting started which require first aid. Then ask Ss to work with a partner to decide what to do in each situation.
T explains the meaning of the new words in the sections, use the pictures given. Ask Ss to re – explain the meaning of the words and phrases and write the meaning of the words in the notebooks.

2. Presentation






































T calls some pairs to tell the class what they would do in each situation:
a. a girl has a bur in her arm:
We would use an ice – bag to ease the burn
b. a boy has a bad cut on his leg:
We would use cotton and bandage to stop bleeding, then take him to the nearest clinic.
c. a girl has a nose bleeding
We’d get her some cotton and ask her to sit stand until he nose stop bleeding.
d. a boy has a bee sting
We’d get him some balm.

Vocabulary:
- T asks some questions to elicit the content of the dialogue:
1. Who are in the dialogue?
2. What are they talking about?
T plays the tape for the first time, Ss listen and find out the new words and underline them.
T explains the new words:

Ss practice the new words in chorus and then in pairs make some sentences with the new words.
T plays the tape again for Ss to listen to the pronunciation of the new words.
Grammar:
T asks Ss to find out the sentences which use WILL, then explains the way to use WILL in the sentences.


Ss make some more sentences using the structure, T corrects the mistakes if any.
* Note: WILL = ‘LL

Practice the dialogue:
Ss work in pairs and practice the diaogue, T asks Ss to practice the ialogue in correct intonation and pronunciation.
T calls some pairs to practice the dialogue aloud, T corrects their mistakes if necessary.
Selet the topics:
- Ss read the dialogue again, then work in pairs and answer the questions page 81, T goes around to help weaker Ss.
- Then Ss exchange their answers to compare, T call some Ss to go to bb to write their answers
- T corrects the answers after all. Ss write the correct answers into their notebooks.

Make full sentences:
