REVISION
I. OBJECTIVES:
1. Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to understand and know the ways to learn English such as vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading and writing skill and the other knowledge.
2. Skills: Speaking, listening, writing.
II. PREPARATION: Lesson plan, textbook, cassette, whiteboard markers.
III. PROCEDURE:

* Warm - up: Simon says
- stand up - say OK - sit down - point your nose - clap your hands
* Lead-in: Chatting
1. What/s your name?/How are you?/ How old are you?/ Where do you live? How many people in your family? .......
-introduces the lesson.
1. Activity 1: How to learn vocabulary
- Asks Ss to give the ways they learn Vocabulary and then asks them to share their ideas about this.
- Gets feedback and then gives more opinions or ideas: How to learn Vocabulary. In the class and at home.
- Explains them clearly.
2. Activity 2: Introduce some activities in learning four main skills.
- Introduces the main aims of learning four main skills in English.
- Gives some activities and explains how they work.
- Asks Ss to open their books and take some for examples.
- Ask Ss to speak out the ways they learn vocabulary and then share their ideas in groups.


- Play the game.

- Read and write them every day.
- Make the sentence with the words.
- Write the words on the piece of paper and stick it around the house.

I. OBJECTIVES:
1. Knowledge: At the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to understand the details of the text about Hoa, write about themselves and resive the Simple present, a lot of/many and comparision.
2. Skills: Reading, writing.
II. PREPARATION: Lesson plan, textbook, cassette, whiteboard markers.
III. PROCEDURE:

* Warm – up: Slap the board
- Teacher asks the quetions:
1. What/s your name?
2. Goodbye
3. How are you today?
4. Are you a student?
5. What class are you in?





* Lead-in:
- Use the picture and asks the questions
? What is her name/ who are they?/ What is the new girl’s name?/
- Introduce Hoa and leads in the lesson.
1. Pre – reading:
a. Presentation Text:
How is everything?/How are you?
( Very well/ Not bad/ Pretty good .....
- Introduces the situation in which Ba meets Nga after the summer vacation and then elicits the greetings and responses.
- Gives the model and run it through.
- Does concept check.
- Asks Ss to work with the model.
- Hangs on the responses and asks Ss to match them in groups.
- Gives feedback.
- Asks Ss when they can use the responses.
- Gives more examples .
b. Vocabulary pre - teach:
- Introduce the new vocabularies by -using the pictures and explaining the meaning.
- Read and ask Ss to repeat.
- Check their pronunciations.
- Correct and ask Ss to copy down.
* Checking vocabulary: R – O - R
c.T/F statement prediction:
- Hang on the statements and run them through.
- Revise: a lot of, many and asks Ss to predict the information.
