I. Objectives:
By the end of Unit 1, students will be able to greet someone or introduce themselves
and other people;
II. Structures and vocabularies:
- Hi, hello, nice, I, am, you, too...
III. Main details:
- Unit 1 is divided into 4 periods from period 2 to period 5.

- Get some students to say something about them
2. Introduction (18’)
+Act 1: Introduce units, sections
+Act 2: Introduce six characters appeared many times in the book.
+Act 3: Introduce 9 icons often used in the book
+Act 4 : Introduce how to learn new words and grammar
3. Practice ( 10’)
- Ask Ss to write/ remember/ read some words- - Check
4. Sum up ( 2’)
- Remind them how to learn the subject once more
5. Homework ( 2’)
- Give the task to Ss to do at home.

- Look at the book and listen
- Look, remember characters’ appearance and names
- Read and remember 9 icons ( look, listen . repeat..)
