Remember :
Adjective + ly  adverb of manner
Ex: careful + ly  carefully
Exercise 1 (page 52): Complete the dialogues.
Use the adverbs of manner in the box.

At home, Tim’s mother reported to Tim:(reported speech)
" Miss Jackson asked me to give you this dictionary.” (1)
Or “Miss Jackson told me to give you this dictionary.”(2)
At school, Miss Jackson said to Tim’s mother: (direct speech)
“Can you give Tim this dictionary ?”(1. request)
Or “Please give Tim this dictionary.”(2. command)
Reported speech with commands and requests:
