Writing a letter to express satisfaction (or dissatisfaction)
Task 1
Work with a partner. Imagine that you have been using some of the services provided by Thanh Ba Post Office (you have learnt about this post office in the READING section). Discuss the things that may make you satisfied (or dissatisfied) with the services there. The ideas below might be useful to you:
The opening hours of post office
The quality of equipment
The security conditions of the post office
The attitude of the staff
The prices of the services
The punctuality of delivery of letters and newspapers
too late/too early…
good/bad/poor quality/needs repairing…
good/poor security condition/no one to keep motorcycles …
polite/helpful/rude/arrogant
low/high/reasonable…
always/never punctual/sometimes late/ letters and newspapers are lost …
For example
A: What do you think about the security condition of Thanh Ba Post Office?
B: I think it’s good but there is one thing that makes me dissatisfied. That is there was no one to keep motorcycles when we came in the post office

After a year in the job, the director of Thanh Ba Post Office has invited residents in the neighborhood to write letters to him describing the quality of the services they have received. Write such a letter, using the ideas you discussed in Task 1
