+ practice listening for specific information about pilot’s schedule

- T invites Ss to answer about old lesson and write down new words

II. Presentation ( 15’)
- T asks Ss look at the box in the book. The words in the box are the names of some Asian countries and Ss have to decide which counties they are.
- T asks Ss to read the names of these countries.
- T listens and corrects their mistakes if they have.
- T gives the names of these countries:

- T asks Ss look at the below table. We have capital names of 7 countries Ss have learned. Ss complete the table by matching the names with the countries.

III. Practice (15’)
- T looks at the picture in 156 pages and answers the questions:
Where is this man?
What does he do? Why do you know?
What does a pilot do every day?
- T asks Ss look at part 2 (page 156 ).
Set the scene: This is one pilot’s schedule from Monday to Sunday. You listen to the tape and complete the schedule by writing the names of the places that the pilot flew to.
- T plays the tape and asks them to listen to carefully.
- T asks Ss give the places where they have listened.
- T corrects the mistakes and gives the correct places.
