Dong Nai is located in the eastern part of South Viet Nam, east of Ho Chi Minh City. It is bordered by BinhPhuoc in the north, Lam Dong and BinhThuan in the east, Ba Ria-VungTau in the south, Binh Duong and Ho Chi Minh City in the west. The Kinh people account for 82.8 percent of the province’s population. The reminder is made up of the ethnic minority groups: the Tay, the Kho Mu, the Nung, the Dao and the Ma.
