ÂÃÖ CÆÅNG ÄN TÁÛP HOÜC KYÌ II

I. TENSES: yãu cáöu hoüc sinh nàõm væîng mäüt säú thç sau:
1. Present simple (Hiãûn taûi âån) [Âaî än táûp åí hoüc kyì I]
2. Present progressive (Hiãûn taûi tiãúp diãùn) [Âaî än táûp åí hoüc kyì I]
3. Past simple (Quaï khæï âån) [Âaî än táûp åí hoüc kyì I]
4. Future simple (Tæång lai âån) [Âaî än táûp åí hoüc kyì I]
(Ngoaìi ra cáön phaíi nàõm thãm:
1. Present progressive with “Always”
S + am/is/are + always + V - ing
Ex: Lien is always going out

 (Describe continually - repeated action (sæû viãûc xaíy ra thæåìng xuyãn, hiãûn taûi)
(Express a complaint ( låìi phaìn naìn)
2. Past progressive (Quaï khæï tiãúp diãùn)
S + was/were + V - ing
Ex: I was watching TV at 3.00 at night

 (An action was happening at a point of time in the past (haình âäüng âang xaíy ra taûi mäüt thåìi âiãøm xaïc âënh trong quaï khæï) EX: at 6 .00 yesterday; at this time last night.....
(”When”, “While” haình âäüng âang xaíy ra trong quaï khæï, mäüt haình âäüng khaïc báút chåüt xaíy âãún. When + S + V ed2, S+ was / were + V-ing
While + S+ was / were + V-ing, S + V ed2,
Ex: When I was having dinner, my friend came
3. Present perfect (Thç hiãûn taûi hoaìn thaình)
S + have/has+ V ed3

 (For / since : Ex: I have learnt English since 2000
((Not)yet(chæa),already (räöi), just(væìa):Ex:She has already done her homework
II. PATTERNS Cáön nàõm væîng caïc máùu cáu sau
1. Adjective + ( to infinitive
( Noun clause
Ex: I am happy to meet you
He was pleased that he got good marks at school

2. Questions word + to infinitive
(what/how/where...)
Ex: Nga told me how to go there

3. In order(not) to/ so as(not)to + V-infinitive

Ex: People use first_aid in order to ease the victim’s pain

 4. Request with (cáu âãö nghë)
Would / Do + you mind + (if I...?
(V-ing?

Ex:

 5. Modal
(“Will” (request and promise (låìi âãö nghë, låìi hæïa)

(”Shall” ( offers (ngoí yï giuïp âåî ai) Ex: Shall I carry your bag ?
6. Sequence markers: First..., next..., then..., finally...
7. Compound noun (danh tæì gheïp)
N + V-ing
Ex: rice-caking, fire-making

 8. Passive forms (thãø bë âäüng)
S + tobe + Ved3

 a. Present simple (hiãûn taûi âån)
S + V1 (e/es) + O

S + am/is/are + Ved3 (+ by O)
Ex: People speak English all over the world

( English is spoken all over the world

 b. Past simple (Quïa khæï âån)
S + V2ed + O

S + was/were + Ved3 (+by O)
Ex: She wrote this book

( This book was written ( by her ).

 c. Future simple (Tæång lai âån)
S + will + V1 + O

S + will + be + Ved3 (+ by O)
Ex: My mother will take me to the zoo

( I will be taken to the zoo by my mother

 d. Present perfect ( Hiện tại hoàn thành)
S + have / has + Ved3 + O

S + have / has+ been+ Ved3 (+ by O)
Ex: They have built this school since last year.

( This school has been built since last year.

 9. Reported speech (thãø giaïn tiãúp, cáu tæåìng thuáût)
a. Reported speech : Låìi giåïi thiãûu åí quaï khæï (asked, said ...) thç mãûnh âãö tæåìng thuáût cuîng åí thç quaï khæï.
