A. Warm up. Chatting

B. Presentation.
- Giving introduction of the text (set the scene)
+ Pre-teach: Teaching vocabulary. Hello/Hi I/am.
Nam/Mai LiLi/Peter.
- T sticks words on the board. T asks to read the new words and continues with the others.
- Gets Sts to read all the new words in groups, individual
+ Checking vocabulary. Jumbled words
- T reads new structure.
T asks Sts to repeat in chorus
- Gets some pairs to read aloud.
C. Practice. Look and say.
- Asks Ss to look at the pictures and complete the missing sentences. “Picture cue drill”
Example exchange: A: Hello, I’m Nga
B: Hi, I’m Minh
D. Production ; Role play
- Asks Ss to work in groups of two . greet & introduce the names.
- Call one or two groups show the dialogue.
E. Home work.
- Say the consolidation & read the part 1,2 again

+ Open prediction.
- T asks Ss work in pair to guess.
- T gets feedback from Ss and write Ss’ideas on the black board.
- Asks Ss to listen twice.
- After the 2nd listening,
- Asks Ss to listen again & check their predictions.
- T gives feedback.
