Ba’s home village lies near the foot of a mountain and by a river. Many people go there on weekends to have a rest after a hard working week. Getting to the village is an interesting journey. People have a chance to travel between the green paddy fields, cross a small bamboo forest before they reach a big old banyan tree at the entrance to the village.
Walking up the mountain, people can visit the shrine of a young Vietnamese hero and enjoy the fresh air there. Besides, they can also take a boat for sightseeing in the river or have a picnic on the river bank. It’s a wonderful place for resting.
