I- TENSES (Các thì ) :
1- Present simple ( Thì hiện tại đơn ): S+ V(s,es )
(- ) S+ don’t/ doesn’t + Vbare
(? ) Do/Does+ S + Vbare ?
Time expressions : never, sometimes, rearely, seldom,often, usually, frequently, always, every…
2- Present progressive ( Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn ) : S+ am/is/are + V-ing
Time expressions: now, at the moment, at present, after the imperative
3- Present perfect ( Thì hiện tại hoàn thành ) : S+ have/ has +V3
Time expressions: Since, for, already, yet, so far , up to now, until now, recently, lately, many times…
4- Past simple ( Thì quá khứ đơn ) : S+V2 /(ed )
(- ) S + didn’t + Vbare
(? ) Did + S+ Vbare ?
Time expressions: yesterday, last, ago, in + past time
5- Past progressive ( quá khứ tiêp diễn ) : S + was/were + V-ing

Time expressions : tomorrow, next, someday, soon, tonight, in the future ….
II- PASSIVE VOICE ( Thể bị động ) : S+ Be + V3
1- Present simple : S + am/is/are + V3
2- Present progressive : S+ am/is/are + being + V3
3- Present perfect : S+ have/ has + been+V3
4- Past simple : S+ was/ were + V3
5- Past progressive : S + was/were + being + V 3
6- Modal verbs : S+ will/ would/ should, may/ might/ can/ could/ ought to/ have to/ must + be + V3
III- S+ used to + Vbare : đã từng , đã thường
IV- Clause after “wish” : S+ Wish + S + V2
V- Reported speech
1- Statements ( câu khẳng định ) : S+ said/ said to sb/ told sb + ( that ) + S + V ( past tenses )
Ex : He said, “ I am tired today”-> He said (that) he was tired that day
2- Yes- No questions ( Câu hỏi Yes/ no ) : S+ asked ( sb ) / wondered + if/whether + S + V (past tenses)
Ex : They said , “ Are you tired , Tom?”-> They asked Tom if / whether he was tired
3- Wh- questions : S+ asked ( sb )/ wanted to know + question word + S + V (past tenses )
Ex : He said to me, “ Why don’t you tell me about that ?”- > He asked me why I didn’t tell him about that
LƯU Ý : các thay đổi khi chuyển từ câu trực tiếp sang gián tiếp
a- Thì của động từ : - simple present-> Simple past
- present progressive-> past progressive
- present perfect-> past perfect
- Simple past-> past perfect/ simple past
b- Tính từ chỉ định và từ chỉ nơi chốn, thời gian :
This, these-> that, those
Here, now, ago-> there, then, before
Tomorrow-> the next/ the following/ the day after
Today/ tonight-> that day, at that time/ that night
Next-> The following/ the next
Last-> the previous/ the…….before
VI_ Prepositions of time : at/ in/ on / until/ after/ before/ from…to/ between…and
-on+ day/date ( on Tuesday, on January 23)
- at + a point of time / night/ noon/ ( at 7am )
- in+ month/ year/ season/ part of the day ( in May, In the winter, in the morning )
VII- Adverb clause of result ( mệnh đề trạng ngữ chỉ kết quả ) : S+ V + (C ), so S+ V (C )
Ex : She studied hard , so she passed the exam
VIII_ Modals with If : Ta có thể nối một mệnh đề if với một mệnh đề chính có chứa các động từ khiếm khuyết . Thay vì sử dụng will ta có thể dùng
1- may/can để chỉ sự cho phép: Vd : If you eat all your dinner , you can
