A. GRAMMAR:
1. Conditional sentence
a. Type 1:
If – clause Main clause
If + S + V ( present simple ) S + will/can/ should + Vinf
Eg : If you work hard, you will pass the exam
b. Type 2 : Untrue in present (Khoõng coự thaọt ụỷ hieọn taùi )
If – clause Main clause
If + S + V (past simple) S + would / could + Vinf
Note : Be : were
Eg : She would buy a new shirt if she had money

2. Adjective and adverb
Adj + ly -> Adv ( manner )
S + be + Adj
S + V + a /an /the .....+ Adj + N
Eg : She is beautiful. / She is a beautiful girl.
S + V ( ordinary ) + Adv
Eg : My mother does everything carefully
*Exceptions : Adj Adv

3. Adverb of reason :

4. Adverb of result :
S + V + so + S + V
Result clause eg : Nam stayed up late, so he is tired
5. Connectives :
* Conjunction :
a. Coordinating conjunctions:
+ and : addition I want to buy a notebook and two pens
+ but : contrast She likes eating fish but I don’t
+ or : choice Would you like coffee or tea ?
+ so : result It is raining heavily so we can’t go fishing
+ because : reason We can’t go fishing because it is raining heavily
b. Transition words :

+ Therefore : Result of the first idea

10. Modal verbs :

11. Make suggestions :

What about + V-ing .................?
