14. Present Progressive Tense
a. Affirmative
S + am/is/are + V_ing + O
Ex: a. He is listening to music
b. They are watching TV in the living room
Usage : Expressing an action or a thing is happening at present( diễn tả hành động đang diễn ra ở hiện tại).
Meaning : đang
Notes : This tense is followed with some adverbs such as : now , right now ,at the moment ,..
b. Negative
S + am/is/are + not + V_ing + O
Ex: a. He isn’t listening to music.
b. They aren’t watching TV in the living room.
c. Interrogative
Am/is/ are + S + V_ing + O ?
* With “Wh_” question words
- What/ Where/ When + be + S + V_ing ?
Ex :a. Is he listening to music ?
b. What is he doing ?
c. Where are they watching TV ?

a. Comparative with short Adj /Adv
Form S + V + Adj/Adv_ er + Noun /Pronoun
Ex :a. My dog is smarter than yours.
b. Nam run faster than I .

Form :
S + V + more + Adv/Adj + than + N / PrN
Ex : a. Lan is more inteligent than her sister
