What is media?!
Social media describes the ways how people discover, read and share news, information and content by using meanings.

RADIO
3 public bodies responsible for television and radio:
The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC)
The Independent Television Commission (ITC)
The Radio Authority
Television or Telly
On average 25 hours/week.
About 96% of the population have television in their homes.
51% of households have two or more sets.
NOTICE:
TV License:
We pay to watch the telly in the UK, no matter how much or how little we watch TV. If you use a TV or any other device to receive or record TV programs, you need a TV License.
Freeview:
There are about 30 channels in all, known as `Freeview` channels. (BBC1 ,BBC2 and so on.)
Cable and Satellite television:
There are about 300 channels including ITV1, Channel 4, Channel 5 and some American ones like CNN.
The largest satellite programmer is BSkyB (British Sky Broadcasting)
About 200 Cable TV channels and the channels are very similar to Satellite TV.
