Sheffield is known world wide for its steel making. The steel mill shown here in the Attercliffe district of Sheffield is one of the last areas with buildings and offices that have history dating back to the days of industrial greatness.
This modern structure was built in Sheffield "Steel City" for Y2K. It was planned as a Museum for Popular Music but the visitor numbers were low and it closed and now formed part of the university in Sheffield.

The Welsh village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, variously spelled with between 54 and 58 letters, is credited with possessing the longest place name in Great Britain, and one of the longest in the world. The name translates roughly as "Saint Mary`s church in the hollow of the white hazel near a rapid whirlpool by the red cave of Saint Tysilio."
At 1,085 m (3,560 ft), Snowdon`s main peak is the loftiest point in England and Wales. Lying within Snowdonia National Park, Snowdon can be ascended by a number of trails or by a railway that goes all the way to the summit. Climbers, hill walkers, sightseers, and fishers have made Snowdon a popular destination.
