It was a beautiful day, my friends and I decided to go on a picnic. We took a bus to the countryside and then walked about 20 minutes to the picnic site next to the river. We put down the blankets and laid down the food. After meal we played the game “ What song is it ?” and “ blind man’s buff”. Late in the afternoon, we went fishing. We enjoyed our picnic. When we looked at the time, it was nearly 6. 30 pm. We hurriedly gathered our things and ran to the bus stop. We were very lucky to catch the last bus and we arrived home very late in the evening

On Sunday, I and my friends decided to go on a picnic to my home village about 30 kilometers to the west of Quang Ngai City . The village lies near the foot of a mountain and by a river. Many people go there on weekends to have a rest after a hard working week..
The journey to my village is very interesting . In the morning ,we took a bus to the countryside and then walked about 5 minutes to the village . We have the chance to travel between the green paddy fields and cross an old bamboo forest before we reach a big old banyan tree at the entrance to my village.After one hour traveling by bus, we felt tired and hungry so we sat down under the tree and had a snack.
In the afternoon, we went fishing and had a picnic on the river bank before going home late in the morning. We enjoyed our picnic


3. Write about the advantages and disadvantages of the Internet?

The Internet is one of the wonderful invention of our world. No one can deny its benefits.
Firstly, the Internet is used as a source of information. Thanks to the Internet, we can get the latest news, read interesting articles or check weather forecast before going camping or fishing.
Secondly, the Internet is considered(được xem như) as a source of entertainment. Through the Internet we can enjoy music, watch video instead of going to the movie theater, we can also play games to relax…
Thirdly, the Internet is used as a source of education . Thanks to the Internet, we can attend on-line schools, on-line classes are also available, it’s convenient for us to have self- study schools at home.
However, there are some disadvantages that we can’t avoid (tránh) such as it is not only costly but also time- consuming, besides there are some bad programs that affect directly to the students, they ignore( phớt lờ) their studying. Sometimes, the Internet users have to suffer( chịu đựng) some risks , for examples: There are some electronic junk mails and personal information leaking.
In conclusion, if we know how to overcome its disadvantages, the Internet is very marvelous( tuyệt vời) to our modern life .


4.about a festival

Although there are many festivals every year, but I like The Rice- cooking festival best.
The Rice-cooking festival is a joyful festival. It was held in the communal house yard about one kilometer away from a river. There were three competitions : water-fetching, fire-making and rice-cooking. The festival took one day.
In the water-fetching contestone person from each team had to run to the river to get the water.In the fire-making contest two team members had to make a fire in the traditional way. They tried to rub pieces of bamboo together to make the fire.
Six people from each team took part in the rice-cooking contest. They had to separate the rice
from the husk and then cook the rice .
After the three contests, all the points were added and which group won the grand prize. The festival was wonderful.
