The kimono is the traditional clothing of Japan.
The kimono has had a long history in Japan and the kimono has changed over time to reflect the society and culture of that period.
Yomeimon, or Higurashimon, at Toshogu, Nikko, Japan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is the view from outside the gate. I took the photo and contribute it to the public domain. However, people and institutions may retain rights to images in it.

There`s about 20°C difference between summer and winter.
In the summer of 2004, temperature went record high up to 42.7°C (109°F) in the middle of Tokyo (Adachi ward), and days over 30°C (86°F) continued for 40 days.

It`s winter
Coming back to Tokyo was a pleasure after Hokkaido, but alas, I have been forced to realize that winter is slowly but surely coming here too.
It`s now November, temperatures are approaching the 10-degree mark and leaves are changing color, no more going outside without a coat and I`ve been forced to turn on the heating.
