- Give out the situation
- Ask student discuss and give the form of past simple tense
[S + had + Verb in past participle]
- Ask students to give the usage of past perfect tense
- Listen and correct. Encourage students to speak out as much as possible.
+ Past simple tense is used to indicate an action that happened before another action in the past
Ex: I had gone to the market before I went home yesterday.
