Nowadays,in the morden life,there are many equipment which provide for people’s requirement.And television is one of them.But as every thing in the world ,TV has both sides.
In one hand,firstly,TV has a source of information.It hepls us get the lastest news through current event programs everyday.It’s always up dates.Especially, we can know about the weather tomorrow if we watch the weather forcast on TV.So we can prepare thoughfully for our intention. Besides,there are many other useful programs on TV about history,geography,cultues and peoples all over the world.We also know the every life of many people,how they live,what they do.Studying will become easier if we watch TV suitably because there are many educational programs on it such as “Teaching and Learning foreign language”. “Teaching basal knowledge”.Therefore,we can widen our knowledge and study a lot from the others.
Secondly, there are many advertisements on TV.So it is easier to find good products and know which is suitable for us. Because almost of these produces guarantee the quality. Moreover, we can find a job through advertisements on TV. It’s very convenient.
Thirdly, nobody can’t be interested by the entertaining program on TV.There are a lots of interesting game shows in all aspects on different channels. Viewers not only watch them ,but they can also take part in these programs through telephone,letters or email.More mordenly,viewers are able to ask questions about the shows by using their remote controls. They can sit in their living room and watch a direct program in any places in the world,for example the Miss World in South Africa! Besides,there are movies and series which are attracted the most viewers because they only revolve our daily life.
On the other hand,there are some disadvantages of television. First of all,it’s very waste of time because many people are addicted to programs on TV. They don’t want to do anything except watching TV. Sitting on the sofa and gluing eyes into TV is their happiness. This is the reason why many students become lasier, otherwise outdoor activities will make them more active. Watching TV too much also effects to our eyes. Moreover, there are some unsuitable programs. For example,there are fims only for adults but children also watch them. It’s not really good because it makes children’s image worse.Finally,watching TV wastes much money. Many people have a bad habit that they often turn on the TV and watch all channels although they aren’t necessary. So they have to pay more money for the electric bill.
To sum up,although there are some disadvantages in watching TV, it is also common. If we know the way to watch TV suitably, it will be very interesting.
