He has called for three hours.

He has slept for three hours?

No, he hasn’t slept for three hours. He has called for three hours.
Present perfect luôn ngầm chứa một ý nghĩa qui chiếu hoặc có liên quan đến một thời điểm. Thời điểm chính xác thực sự không cần thiết, nó có thể là hiện tại hoặc từ một lúc nào đó kéo dài đến hiện tại. Thì này không được sử dụng để diễn tả những sự việc đã hoàn tất.
Dùng để diễn tả những hành động,sự việc bắt đầu xảy ra trong quá khứ nhưng không đề cập đến sự chấm dứt.
Example: I have learnt English since 1995.

Cách sử dụng
Diễn tả hành động, sự việc chưa từng xảy ra trước đây, hoặc xảy ra lần đầu tiên . Được sử dụng với This/It is the first time/the second time, never, ever...
Example: Is this the first time you have been to Vietnam?
Sử dụng dưới hình thức "have got" để diễn tả hình thức sở hữu. Hình thức này hoàn toàn giồng have, do you have theo Tiếng Anh của người Mỹ.
Example: Have you got a pen? (British English)
Do you have a pen? (America English).
Sử� dụng dể diễn tả hành động hoặc sự việc nằm trong một thời điểm chưa qua hẳn lúc đang nói đến. Do đó Present perfect thưòng đi kèm với today, this morning, this year, this term.
Example: Catherine hasn`t worked much this term.
Thường được sử dụng trên báo chí, đài phát thanh. để giới thiệu sự việc, hành động mà sau đó sẽ được mô tả bằng Past simple.
Example:
Two prisoners have escaped from Dartmoor. They used a ladder which had been left behind by some workers, climed a 5-meter wall and got away in a stolen car.
Thường được sử dụng trong thư từ.
Example: I`m sorry, I haven`t written before. I was busy.
