Number the paragraphs in
the correct order.
a. Then suddenly the chairlift stopped and Luke slipped from the chair. Fran grabbed his hand and stopped him just in time. She tried to pull the child back into the chair, but he was too heavy. ‘Help! Help!’ she shouted.
b. But Luke didn’t fall. The chairlift operator climbed up to the chair and
helped Fran to hold her son. About five minutes later the police helicopter
arrived and lifted Luke into the chair.

helped Fran to hold her son. About five minutes later the police helicopter
arrived and lifted Luke into the chair.
